Andrew Best
VP of Six Senses Hotel

Andrew Best has been serving Six Senses Hotels Resorts and Spas as Vice President of Architecture Planning and Technical Services since June 2013, bringing with him 30 years of international experience in architecture, design and construction plus a solid record of project management in numerous hospitality and mixed-use projects.

In Six Senses, he leads the design and construction of new hotels, resorts, spas and renovation of existing resorts, and his responsibilities include managing the technical and creative team that are directing more than 25 new luxury resorts, hotels and spas and driving the renovations on the 11 existing Six Senses resorts. The work also includes associating closely with the development team on reviewing the potential new projects in the pipeline, developing area programs and design briefs. Role also includes sitting on the executive committee of Six Senses and involvement in the companies direction and management.

His experience includes senior leadership roles with Arthur Erickson Architects, Blue Sky Architecture, Waterfront Plus Architecture, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and, most recently, with Starwood Capital in the role of vice president.

He has a unique talent for team building, inspiring trust with partners, consultants and other project stakeholders. Throughout his career, he has established his leadership credentials, bringing a results-based approach to project development.
